Window and Facade Association

VFF (the national association of the German fenestration industry) is the independent and neutral stakeholder and competent service provider of the German fenestration industry, serving manufacturers and processors of windows and facades, doors and conservatories and their system partners

With an approx. 60 % market share of its 300 member companies, the VFF has the role of political leadership of the fenestration industry. It leads opinions and acts as a spokesperson for all topics relevant to the industry, mediating between the industry and politicians, the market and the media.

We competently represent the interests of our industry in political bodies when it comes to deciding on issues of relevance to business and economy.

Our Association is the communication platform of the industry. Regardless of the frame materials used, it provides all members with competence and leading knowledge in terms of product quality and competitiveness.

By means of lobbying tailored to our industry we represent the interests of our member companies in the process of political decision-making. We take the lead for initiatives to influence relevant legislation and are members of the VOB, DIN and CEN committees at the national and European levels. The basic principles are prepared jointly by the members of the VFF committees.

The VFF is committed to quality assurance and has close links with the Assurance Quality Association for Windows and Front Doors. We clarify unresolved technical issues and initiate new technical developments. At the same time we examine developments in the light of their technical, economical and ecological aspects.

In addition to effective lobbying, we promote the competitiveness of our members by professional service packages on the following topics: technology, law, market, marketing and by specialist seminars and workshops. The aim of this practical service package is to win for the VFF network and community all quality-driven, efficient companies and those that play a key role in our industry. For this purpose, we have set up the Association as a powerful and high-performance organisation.
